Jarrod Arnold is the Founder, CEO and Fiduciary Financial Advisor of Tier 1 Financial. He helps pre-retirees, retirees, and business owners make informed decisions about retirement income, tax strategy, investments and long-term financial security. His focus is helping families understand where they are today, define where they want to go and create a clear financial plan to help them get there.
As a passionate financial educator, Jarrod believes people should understand their options before making decisions that can significantly impact their future. Through educational seminars, retirement workshops, radio and other media outlets, he brings practical retirement education to the community. His expertise and insights have been featured by ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC, helping him educate families well beyond the traditional advisor-client relationship.
Jarrod is also the author of Am I Retire Already?, a book focused on helping people better understand the transition from saving for retirement to creating income and making confident financial decisions in retirement.
After gaining experience in financial services, small business and real estate investing, Jarrod founded Tier 1 Financial with his wife, Tiffany, to create a more personal, education-first approach to financial planning. As CEO, he leads the firm’s vision while working directly with clients to develop strategies around retirement income, tax considerations, long-term care and legacy goals.
As a fiduciary, Jarrod takes seriously the responsibility clients place in him. He believes financial advising is about more than numbers. It is about understanding the life a client wants to live and creating a thoughtful plan to support it. Being entrusted to help a family create that plan and then work toward achieving it, is an honor he does not take lightly.
Through the Tier 1 Approach, Jarrod provides a no-pressure, education-first experience designed to help clients ask better questions, understand their choices and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Outside of Tier 1, Jarrod enjoys traveling with Tiffany and their three daughters, woodworking, competitive cornhole, and real estate investing. He is also a Master SCUBA Instructor with more than 3,000 dives and experience guiding more than 100 first-time divers.
